Storage:

  • Wool will stretch when hung. We highly recommend storing your jumpers folded to keep their original shape and fit.

Washing:

  • Washing wool is not as difficult as you think. First and foremost, avoid machine washing your wool jumpers. This will pull the yarn and distort the shape of the jumper, which may result in unintentional sizing alterations. We highly recommend to only hand wash your 100% British wool jumpers in room temperature water.

  • You should wash your wool jumpers at least once in the season it was worn - at the end of the season, to prepare it for storage.

  • We recommend using a wool wash that has been specifically designed to be gentle on delicate fabrics. This will preserve the dye, retain its water resistant qualities and possibly soften the wool.

Due to the nature of the wool, some may find a 100% British wool jumper slightly itchy to the skin. For optimal warmth and comfort, we recommend layering the jumper over a long sleeve top.
