British Millerain is the global leader and original manufacturer of waxed cotton, founded in 1880 in Yorkshire, UK. These fabrics and their manufacturing processes have been fine-tuned for over six generations. Their 18oz waxed cotton canvas makes up the Arden’s integral structure.

Makefast is the UK's leading manufacturer of marine and safety products based in beautiful Mid Wales. Our G hook is custom-milled by Makefast's precision engineering team with marine-grade 316 stainless steel and then barrelled for 18 hours to smooth and polish.

Lockdown in the city gave us time to prioritise what is truly important in life; dreaming about the day when we are able to explore the world again. We have designed and built a backpack that we think will help us satisfy our innate desire for adventure, whilst meeting our everyday commuting needs.
Price Transparency
We at Beacon & Armour highly value transparent relationships with all our stakeholders and customers. We have decided to make public the costs of products offered to you. By doing so, we hope that you'll find our products are priced fairly.
Costs & Margins
The cost of making each backpack is £102.48.
At a typical retail markup of 2.5x; each backpack would have been priced at £256. We have priced them at £195.
Additional Contributions
Our profits will contribute towards the company’s overheads, marketing and operational costs. This includes, and not limited to, monthly recurring bills, transaction fees, marketing expenditure, product development, digital platform services and team salary/allowance.
